We all are surrounded by stories. Everything that we know, that we have learnt is having a story attached to it. So whenever someone says that he or she is not a good story-teller, don’t believe because even that is a story. Sankalp Kohli in his book named, ‘What’s your story’ portrays that importance of storytelling in our world with beautiful examples and also give us hints to become a good storyteller. According to him, every great man is a great storyteller. He is not selling his idea or product or himself but he is selling his story.

Sankalp Kohli in his book talks about the art of storytelling in a way that it leaves a great impact over your understanding. His examples regarding various scenarios of life are something to be thought upon. It’s a very short book of around 60 pages only and is available in ebook format.

The negative of the book is that it doesn’t hold anything, extra-ordinary. He is just talking about the things that we already know but he is making you think about those points by assembling them in his book. Leaving the live examples (That comprises of around 60% of the book’s length), nothing interests me.

Finally, it’s a quick read and hence for all those who are willing to read about the art of storytelling, go grab this one.

I’ll rate this book 3.5/5.
