“Funny, Unpredictable and Entertaining; everything you expect from a novel.”
Operation Mom is something you would love to enjoy with a cup of tea/coffee on a beautiful evening. The book is pacy, funny and entertaining with a top-notch intellect. Never allows you to get bored or distracted. A one-time finisher!
First look at the book and you get those girly-vibes. Albeit it’s a female oriented book but it holds good entertainment value for both the genders. Too much pink might demoralize some of the readers but you won’t be disappointed once you’re into the story.
I found it entertaining. There are moments when it will make you laugh, make you smile. The tight references and critical phrases will make you think twice. As all the characters ride nearly the same wave of intellect, you will feel quite comfortable once you’re into that phase. There are not much books that I’ve finished in one go, but this surely had that capacity as it never allowed a moment of distraction.
I feel that Operation Mom is a top rated season of a famous TV show. It’s finely divided into different episodes, with each one taking the story further. It never felt like I was reading a book. It was more of watching a TV program that would be telecasted on weekends. Once you’re into the story, you feel like you’ve known the characters for quite some time. Whatever they say, whatever they do, is completely justified. Talking about the characters, I loved Deepali’s character the most. She’s shown as this diva with a multi-functional brain, always ready to experiment and a critical ability to analyze situations and people. A good job there!
In particular, there are no setbacks in this book. A general reader would enjoy this book. But people with a thing for a particular genre might not feel the same. I too am a fan of suspense-thriller, mystery and fantasy books but Operation Mom was an entertaining and refreshing experience for me. Once in a while, it’s good to go for something different.
I would like to recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for something entertaining. Best of luck to Reenita for success of Operation Mom. May it reach potential and deserving readers.
