This is not a biography, this is not a entrepreneur guide and even this is not a typical novel kind of a novel but still this will not disappoint you and there are even some possibilities that it may change your whole process of thinking about life.
Coming to the story, Anu Aunty seems to be a character you can find out in each one of us life. It is the character which will try to influence your thought process on every walk of your life. It is the character which acts like resistance to the current of your revolutionary thoughts.
This novel is the story of Varun himself who like most of us wants to do something other than usual. It is the story of a plan which was written on a tissue paper of a bar and turned out to be a millionaire company.
Novel is divided into four parts:
Part 1: Here the seed of the company is sown with the seed of Anu Aunty too in the novel. (3.5 stars)
Part 2: In this part their plan starts to work out and they starts to think big of it. Various procedures of setting up the company are listed. Anu Aunty seems to be in full swing in this part. (3.5 stars)
Part 3: Company starts to boom and friendship starts to loose. (4 stars)
Part 4: Removal of Anu Aunty’s influence and the usual happy ending. (3 stars)
It seemed a bit strange to divide the novel in four parts because it was all written in single mind set.
- Loved the use of south Indian touch in English. Those ‘Ya’s’ after each sentence.
- Varun’s description of Bangalore is beautiful.
- The cover.
- Story is funny.
- Sometimes Varun go off the main story.
- Anu Aunty seems to be lost at some parts of story.
- Story is predictable.
- Writing style is average.
- Teenagers are associated with porn so often that sometimes it seems annoying.
“OMG! I want to became entrepreneur at any cost now.” If you start to read this book, I bet that at the end of it you will definitely shout out the above stated sentence. It’s encouraging, it teaches you to follow your dreams and not to spoil your life to live to the other’s expectation.
Coming to the story I think my story got spoiled because of Varun himself. I watched his viral video on youtube before reading this book and spoiled my book. But still I am glad that I read it.
Coming to the negatives I didn’t like his writing style but I will not blame Varun for it because at the started he himself says that don’t expect too much.
Overall I must say it is a must read.
