Twin Hills

He woke up in a strange room, in strange clothes. It seemed someone has changed his tee and jeans to pajama and night shirt. A vague feeling of uneasiness started to form in his mind.

He started to think backwards, what was the last thing he remembered… that strange looking glass of drink in the birthday party of that new comer girl… what was her name… that girl with those gorgeous pair of greenest eyes? Oh yes! Juniper!

He blacked out after the first sip.

He was sleeping in a bed really offensive to any adult’s taste, it looked like adult version of a child’s doll bed with gaudy colours and shiny things!

He could see faint light outside two windows, side by side at the feet of his bed. They too were strange, they looked like windows but the scenario outside was exactly same, each showed a hill, exactly same shape and structure, same colour… deep green.

He rubbed his eyes! The hills somersaulted and he realized they were a pair of eyes… eyes of a giant.

Then he saw a small tree trunk like thing thumping on one of the windows and a shrill voice boomed, almost blowing his eardrums… “Wake up sleepy head!” then they vanished and he heard it shrieking at a distance, “Mommy the doll you brought me last night is awake!”
